LUCY M. COMPTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Greetings,
We did not get a lot accomplished this year but I think that we are about to turn the corner and begin to do some of the things we have wanted to do since we started this program. Every time I have been ready to throw up my hands and scream, some one on the committee has been encouraging to me.
Our financial condition has improved, we had a short meeting in January after the planning board, the members want to start a fun raisingh adventure, so we are going to start that at the Five Star Banuuet in February.
I urge everyone to assist this committee in doing this program so that we can help some folks in their education and we can get busy in our lodges, doing the things we need to be doing.

We would like for this fund to grow a little more before we try to handle any scholarships but would consider any suggestions that any member might have. One of the major charges of our Order is to 'EDUCATE' . In each Lodge in the state, we can get some much needed publicity out of any project that raises money for Education. Please work hard with us in the coming year.

we did raise almost $500.00 and have more pledged when it comes in.
